A list of  my YouTube vlogs. They show some of the locations in and around London that feature in my books.

Amy, the story of a coram foundling

I film what's left of the Foundling Hospital in Bloomsbury.

Coram's opened in 1752, before relocating to Berkhamsted in the 1920's. The building was later demolished and the site is now a children's playground.

The only buildings remaining are the two side walkways and parts of the front admission buildings.

lavender fields

Featuring some of the locations in my second book, Lavender Fields, including Seven Dials, Mitcham, and the remains of Bedford Workhouse.

out of the darkness

Featuring some of the locations in Out of the Darkness, including Saffron Hill, Bedford Row in Holborn, Smithfield, Clapham Common, and Kings Road, Chelsea.

The foundling museum

A walkthrough of the Foundling Museum.

It features some of their collection and extensive archives. There's also some original interior fittings that were salvaged from the Foundling Hospital building that have been reconstructed, including the main wooden staircase of the administration building.

the courtesan and the mutineer

Accompanying my third book, The Courtesan and the Mutineer, the locations featured are Southwark, Covent Garden, Portsmouth Harbour, and Nelson's flagship, HMS Victory.

lady anna

Locations featured in Lady Anna including St John's Wood, Eaton Square, Belgrave Square, and Victoria Station.

The beast catcher

Featuring Gracechurch Street in the City, and Bentley Woods in Hampshire.

la bella visconti

Accompanying my -yet to be published- 8th book: a visit to the Richard III tomb in Leicester and a look at St Helen's, Bishopsgate which features in the book.

gas street

Gas Street, my only ghost story to date.

It features various locations in Fulham, including Sands End, Imperial Road, and the view from Waitrose car park in North End Road!

cavendish square, w1

Cavendish Square, W1.

Filmed back in 2018, this originally featured in a compilation vlog of different locations in my first book, 'Amy, The Story of a Coram Foundling'.

At age 14, Amy was sent from the Foundling Hospital to work at 2 Cavendish as a nursemaid for the volatile Lady Caroline Ponsonby.

The buildings in the square are all original, but obviously it's changed a lot from the early 19th Century. Most notably the noise of the traffic as this was pre-ULEZ.

melbourne house, whitehall

Melbourne House, Whitehall. Now the Scottish Office.

Amy goes to live here after Lady Caroline Ponsonby's marriage to William Lamb.

I filmed this in 2018 when Donald Trump was on a state visit, hence the tight security and constant noise of a helicopter.
